Live video from Chopper 5 showed the fire burning near homes and power lines, but Dallas Fire Rescue said those structures were not seriously threatened.

It took about 40 firefighters to put out the fire, using hoses on the ground and a ladder truck, DFR said.

Dallas Fire Rescue appeared to have the fire contained by around 4:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported, and DFR was still working to determine the cause of the fire as of Wednesday night.
