Traffic in Anna has been slowed due to a fatal accident involving a 18-wheeler.
The Texas Department of Transportation told NBC 5 the truck had a blown out tire, causing the driver to lose control of the truck. The truck hit a landscape worker on the southbound lanes of US-75 at FM 455.
Earlier information indicated the pedestrian was a construction worker.
Southbound traffic is diverted to the access road as investigators deal with the scene. Northbound traffic is extremely slow as well.
