Been there, done that? Well, Chip and Joanna Gaines are cooking up more reasons to get you back to Central Texas. The Gaineses have a plan to expand their Magnolia Market at the Silos development in downtown Waco soon — by year's end.
The couple plans a $10.4 million expansion that will take in additional blocks and add a Magnolia Home Furniture store and a coffee shop. They will move an empty historic church to the property to be used for events and more shops, with a whiffle ball field and gardens outside.
Waco's downtown Tax Increment Financing Zone board is meeting Thursday to consider giving $1.1 million in funds for public improvements related to the project, the Waco Tribune-Herald reported.
