Carrollton police are advising drivers to take measures to keep their cars from being burglarized.
Police sent out an alert Friday about “grab-and-go” break-ins at area day care centers.
Just this week, there have been three reported cases of burglarized cars as parents dropped off their kids.
The city is recommending its residents to take extra precaution, especially while shopping this holiday season.
City officials are advising to park in a well-lit area, lock the vehicle and set an alarm system.
They also suggest removing all valuables from sight, including accumulated loose change.
