CFBISD Wants to Know What You Want in a Superintendent

The Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District  Board of Trustees is inviting parents to attend one of several community forums this week.

The district wants to know what characteristics and qualities parents, students and the public think it should look for in a new superintendent.

The schedule is as follows:

Monday, March 9 at 1:30 p.m., Administration Building, 1445 N. Perry Road, Carrollton; at 1:30 p.m., Technology and Learning Center, 2427 Carrick, Farmers Branch; at 6:30 p.m., Administration Building, 1445 N. Perry Road, Carrollton; and at 6:30 p.m., Newman Smith High School, 2335 N. Josey Lane, Carrollton.

Tuesday, March 10 at 11:30 a.m., Barbara Bush Middle School, 515 Cowboys Parkway, Irving, and at 6:30 p.m., Administration Building, 1445 N. Perry Road, Carrollton.

Wednesday, March 11 at 4:15 p.m., R. L. Turner High School, 1600 Josey Lane, Carrollton, and at 6:30 p.m., Creekview High School, 3201 Old Denton Road, Carrollton.

The district is encouraging every member of the CFBISD community to attend one of the eight meetings. Each forum is expected to last one hour.

Parents, students and community members are also encouraged to complete an online survey to help develop a profile for the next superintendent.
