Former President George W. Bush keep it light and cracked a few jokes as he delivered the commencement address to graduates at Southern Methodist University Saturday.
"To those of you who are graduating this afternoon with high honors, awards, and distinctions, I say, 'well done,'" Bush quipped. "And as I like to tell the 'C' students: You, too, can be President."
Former President George W. Bush delivered the commencement address at Southern Methodist University Saturday in Dallas.
Bush has many ties to SMU, his wife, former first lady Laura Bush, is a member of the university's board of trustees, and his presidential library sits on the campus.
