Bugaboo Strollers Recalled Due to Fall, Choking Hazard

Bugaboo, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, is recalling more than 50,000 Cameleon and Donkey model strollers due to a fall and choking hazard for children.

More than 46,000 stollers were sold in the United states and more than 4,000 were sold in Canada.

The manufacturer says the button on the stroller's carrycot/seat carry handle can become disengaged, causing the handle to detach and posing a fall and choking hazard to young children.

The Bugaboo Cameleon strollers were sold from September 2009 and June 2012 and the Bugaboo Donkey strollers were sold from January 2011 through December 2012.

All models were sold at Buy Buy Baby, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Toys R Us and various baby product stores, along with Bubaboo.com and online retailers.

This recall affects two stoller models with the serial numbers listed below.
