Bryan police are looking for one of two men who got into a fight outside a bar and battled each other armed with machetes.
Police said Monday the man still there when police arrived had his hand amputated during the confrontation.
Authorities say officers were summoned early Sunday to the parking lot of the bar where the fight broke out.
The 37-year-old man who lost his hand was taken to a hospital. His name hasn't been released.
Bryan is about 100 miles northwest of Houston.
