A 7-year-old South Texas boy has died after a television fell on him while he was at a day care facility in Corpus Christi.
Investigators say Jordan Arredondo died Sunday afternoon at a hospital. Officials say the second-grader suffered head injuries in the accident last Thursday at Mary McLeod Bethune Day Nursery.
John Lennan with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services says the agency is reviewing whether the center complied with all state regulations.
Counselors are available this week at Menger Elementary School in Corpus Christi, where the boy attended classes.
