This just in from Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth: Blake Shelton is coming to town Thursday, Sept. 20, for a free pop-up show. Free? Yes, free, to the first 5,000 fans.
Here's the plan if you want to go:
- Line-Up For Wristbands Starts at 10 a.m..
- Line-Up For Doors: 4 p.m.
- Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
- Concert starts at 8:30 p.m.
"It's special whenever we have something like this come up, and they pick Billy Bob's because they know we have the team in place to handle it," said Pam Minick, vice president of marketing.
Minick said Shelton and Billy Bob's have a relationship that stretches back almost two decades.
"The great thing is, ever since 2001 Blake's been performing at Billy Bob's. We even have pictures of him and his mullet," she joked.
And, here's one important note from Billy Bob's if you go: All attendees must be 21 years of age or older with a valid photo ID, NO EXCEPTIONS.
