An Arlington woman has been arrested and charged with the murder of her husband, police say.
William James Carl Jr., 32, was shot once in the back shortly before midnight Thursday at a residence on the 1600-block of Connally Terrace, Arlington police said.
Carl was transported to Dallas Methodist Hospital where he later died.
His wife, Stephanie Ann Carl, was arrested and charged with the shooting. She is being held at the Arlington City Jail on $100,000 bail, police said.
Carl's murder is the 11th homicide in Arlington this year.
