Arlington police are on the lookout for a couple that stole a bait car from the north end of the city.

A man and a woman stole the car near the intersection of Hester and Fuller streets.

Video released by police on Thursday clearly shows the couple hopping into the car. The woman in the passenger seat can be heard saying: “That don’t have gas. That has a little gas.”

Police said the couple drove a few blocks to a nearby apartment complex and got out.

The video shows the woman seeing a box she believes has a TV in it. The couple discuss taking it but end up leaving it behind when they ditch the car.

Police officers arrived moments later, but the couple was gone.

“Someone should be able to recognize this couple and be able to provide information to locate them,” police spokeswoman Tiara Richard said.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Arlington police at 817-274-4444.
