Arizona Women's Assistant Accused of Harassment

A University of Arizona women's assistant basketball coach is accused of sexually harassing one of his former players at a Texas junior college.

Sean LeBeauf was named in a lawsuit filed in East Texas federal court by a former player at Paris Junior College, Ebonee Tate.

Tate accused LeBeauf in the December complaint of sending her suggestive text messages, then cutting her playing time and threatening to pull her scholarship when she rebuffed his advances and reported them.

LeBeauf coached at Paris for four years before joining Arizona this season. Arizona AD Greg Byrne said in a statement that it had received no complaints about LeBeauf and declined to comment on the lawsuit.

Paris Junior College denied Tate's allegations in a statement to KXII-TV.

No court date has been scheduled.
