Crews continue to rescue people and their beloved animals from rising floodwaters in southeast Texas.
Firefighters saved a woman's chickens from her home in Rosenberg using a rescue boat.
At least six feet of water sits in residential neighborhoods in Rosenberg and Richmond, covering cars and homes.
"The only thing I got out of my house was 2 pairs of pants," said flood victim Irineo Reyes. "The one I had on yesterday and this one."
Fort Bend County officials say record level flooding in the Brazos River prompted authorities to shut down one major highway.

A mandatory evacuation order has been issued for several areas throughout fort bend county.
"We hope that people don't wait for the water to surround their home," Lowell Neinast with the City of Richmond said. "Unfortunately, this happened in several cases and all of a sudden, they decide they want to get out."
Water levels will continue to rise in the region as more rain is expected for the rest of the week.
