All Out Trinity Festival Takes Over the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge

If you love to exercise and you love the Downtown Dallas skyline than you might want to mark Saturday on your calender.

More than 30 sporting organizations will demonstrate a variety of sporting activities to the public for the All Out Trinity Festival.

For the first time, Texans from across the Metroplex will have the opportunity to get a work out on the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and on the Trinity River basin beneath it. Organizers will close down one traffic lane on the bridge for runners, cyclist, walkers and bladers to use during the festival.

The festival will have an all day activity schedule for those who plan to attend. The day will start off at 8 a.m. and will end at 8 p.m. Some of the activities that will take place are:

  • Yoga classes
  • Football
  • Lacrosse
  • Self Defense
  • Soccer
  • Cycling

Activities will be offered to accommodate all athletic skill levels. Rise Adaptive Sports, a group of handicapped athletes from Irving, will be present to help motivate those in wheelchairs. The group will teach the public how to play wheelchair rugby, bocce ball, wheelchair basketball and more.

Another feature is a geodesic dome that is currently under construction by the ELE Foundation of Allen. The organization hopes to educate all the attendants about the value of hydroponic farming.

A complete schedule of events can be found online along with a map of the MHHB and further information.
