Abilene Christian University says it will use $55 million in gifts from three donors to fund a new football stadium and three new science facilities.
The West Texas college announced the donations Friday, including a $30 million gift from April Anthony, founder of a Dallas home health company, and her husband, Mark.
Abilene Christian said part of that gift will go toward a new on-campus football stadium.
Separate gifts of $15 million and $10 million will help pay for new laboratories, classrooms and office space for science instruction.
