ATM Stolen From Fort Worth Shell Gas Station

Truck used as battering ram later found abandoned, police say

Thieves used a pickup truck to smash through a wall and steal an ATM from a Fort Worth gas station Tuesday morning, police say.

Fort Worth police received a call at about 3 a.m. after someone drove a pickup truck into the Shell gas station at 6801 John T. White Road, causing a significant amount of damage to the building.

The theives loaded the ATM into the truck and escaped before police arrived.  The truck was later found abandoned, police said.

Surveillance cameras were in the store, but it is unsure if the theft was recorded.

No arrests have been made and police said the investigation into the theft is ongoing.
