When a seven-foot alligator crawled out of a pond behind a house in suburban Houston and started eyeing the family dog, it was time to call for help.
They called the "Gator Squad", which specializes in the live capture of alligators.
They say she was acting quite aggressively and had no fear of humans, presumably because people had been feeding her.
After repeated attempts, they were finally able to hook the gator in the pond and pull her into the yard where they taped her mouth shut.
The latest news from around North Texas.
She will now go to a gator farm in El Campo where she can live out the rest of her days with other gators.
