A 7-year-old boy died after the electric scooter he was riding collided with a pickup truck in South Texas Monday afternoon.
New Braunfels police said a preliminary investigation shows Annon Snider, while riding through a neighborhood, drove in front of the truck and was struck.
Investigators said the New Braunfels boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the truck driver remained at the crash site and no charges were immediately filed. Police do not believe alcohol or speed played a role in the deadly wreck.
