4,100 Marijuana Plants Found

Helicopter hovers over homegrown

Federal drug agents and Dallas police cleared out several fields of marijuana Wednesday.

Investigators said they are still trying to find out who planted the 4,100 plants they uprooted near an apartment complex by a North Texas highway.

A Dallas police helicopter spotted fields off West Ledbetter Road, near the Dallas Executive Airport.

No one was arrested, and all of the plants were uprooted.

Anyone with information about the case can call the Dallas Police Department's southwest patrol division at 214-670-7464.
