Three schools in White Settlement were on lockdown Wednesday due to police activity in the area.
Brewer Middle School, Mesa High School and Liberty Elementary were all on lockdown between 10:30 a.m. and about 12:30 p.m. while officers search the area for a parole violator who escaped from the Abode Treatment Center.
The man, a felon whose name has not been released, is not considered to be violent.
White Settlement police said they called off the search for the man.
