Police believe three juveniles arrested over the weekend in College Station may be responsible for at least 17 car break-ins where electronics and other valuables have been stolen.
The three have been given court referrals and have been turned over to their parents.
Police Cpl. Stephen Scholleman told The Eagle of Bryan-College Station that investigators are going through a "whole lot of stuff" recovered from the trio and will try to get the items back to owners.
Police had urged residents to be more aware after a rash of break-ins this summer and received a call about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday about cars being burglarized.
