3 Men Arrested in Sex Trafficking Scheme: Dallas Police

Police say three men were involved in an alleged trafficking scheme that allowed two of them to sexual assault a minor over the course of several weeks.

Matthew Bourasa, 46; Kourtlyn Turpin, 21; and Ryan Uresti, 24, were arrested Thursday and booked into the Lew Sterrett Jail, police said.

Investigators said Uresti trafficked the victim for sex to Bourasa. Once the victim was in Bourasa's home, police said, Bourasa impersonated a police officer and pretended to arrest the victim for prostitution.

Bourasa and Turpin agreed to call off the pretend arrest if the victim agreed to live with them. The victim agreed and stayed with the two men for several weeks, and during this time he was sexually assaulted by both men, police said.

Investigators said the alleged offenses took place between July 26 and Sept. 11.

Bourasa is not and has never been a police officer, Dallas police said.

Bourasa is charged with trafficking, impersonating a public servant and two counts of sexual assault.

Turpin is charged with trafficking, impersonating a public servant and sexual assault.

Uresti is charged with trafficking. Each of the men's charges carries a $100,000 bond.
