A 3-year-old child has died after a television set fell on him as he climbed a piece of furniture.
A Temple Police Department statement Tuesday says the child died at a Temple hospital shortly after the accident at his home late Monday night.
Police Sgt. Mike Bolton says evidence at the scene indicated the child was climbing the furniture to reach the television set when the set fell on him.
No identity has been released.
