Little McKinney Cowgirl Could Win $2M in The American

A 10-year-old McKinney cowgirl is in the running to win $2 million in The American rodeo competition.

Karsyn Daniels advanced past the preliminary round of competition at the $500,000 American Semi-Finals in Fort Worth's Cowtown Coliseum. Sunday, she could be taking home $2 million in RFD-TV's rodeo in AT&T Stadium.

Daniels was one of nearly 600 competing at the Semi-Finals. The top 10 finalists were entered into The American on March 1 where they will battle in a professional rodeo.

The American rodeo is produced by Rural Media Group's cable TV network RFD-TV and has no gender, age or earnings limitations on entry. A 9-year-old girl from Stephenville, Chayni Chamberlain, also advanced and has already earned $3,723 in the first round.
