Another earthquake was detected in North Texas Tuesday, the fourth quake in December, after an active November.
According to the United States Geological Survey the 2.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 9:39 a.m. Tuesday, 1 mile east of Azle.
The epicenter for the earthquake on the west side of Eagle Mountain Lake is close to an area rattled by quakes. Last month 20 earthquakes rattled the area near the border of Tarrant and Parker counties. See a Google map here.
