2.7 Magnitude Earthquake Rattles Irving Sunday

Three earthquakes in six days for North Texas

The United States Geological Survey confirms a 2.7 magnitude earthquake struck near old Texas Stadium in Irving just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

The earthquake's epicenter was on East Grauwyler Road, just south of Texas Highway 183.

NBC 5 viewers wrote in and posted reports of feeling the quake on social media.

Sunday's quake follows a 2.0 magnitude earthquake on Wednesday, and another 2.0 on Monday in Dallas.

No damage was reported.
