The U.S. Geological Survey confirms a 2.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded Wednesday morning in Irving.
The epicenter was located near the intersection of Las Colinas Boulevard and North O'Connor Road just after 6 a.m.
It follows a 2.6 magnitude earthquake located along John W. Carpenter Freeway and Walton Walker Boulevard, just east of the University of Dallas campus on Jul 18.
