24-Year-Old Arrested in Attack on Man With Autism at Hurst McDonald's

A 24-year-old man is in custody in connection with an assault on an autistic man that occurred more than two months ago at a McDonald's in Hurst.

Cleveland James Crawford Jr. of Fort Worth faces a charge of aggravated assault and was being held Thursday in the Tarrant County jail, with bail set at $2,500.

The attack took place May 26 at a McDonald's in the 1400 block of West Pipeline Road, Hurst police said.
