The U.S. Geological Survey confirms that two earthquakes were recorded Tuesday in Irving.
The first quake was reported at 3:18 p.m.
It was a 2.1 magnitude earthquake centered east of O'Conner Road, north of State Highway 183 at 3:18 p.m.
The second quake was a 2.2 magnitude, with the epicenter located near the 600 block of Durango Circle, northwest of the site of the old Texas Stadium at 3:59 p.m.
Tuesday's two quakes occurred within 45 minutes of one another and were located 1.2 miles apart.
The quakes follow a 2.7 magnitude quake located at the intersection of Las Colinas Boulevard and North O'Connor Road on Aug. 12.
