$20,000 Reward in Armored Car Heist

There is a $20,000 reward for information in the robbery of an armored car outside a Fort Worth check-cashing store last week.

Police say an armed man in a ski mask grabbed a bag of money from a guard who was waiting to be buzzed into a PayDay Loans store in the 4200 block of Hemphill Street on Friday.

Surveillance video released by police show the robber running away while the guard fires several shots.

The man can be seeing falling, dropping the money and going back for it before jumping into a waiting car.

Police said Friday that the guard fired three shots. Investigators did not find blood at the scene.

NBC DFW's Frank Heinz contributed to this report.
