2 SMU Frats in Trouble

Two fraternities at Southern Methodist University have been disciplined by the university.

SMU banned Kappa Alpha from campus for repeated alcohol-related violations and other infractions, the university said. Fraternity members living in the KA house have to move out by Saturday.

Another fraternity, Kappa Sigma, cannot hold anymore parties or chapter meetings, following a number of drug and alcohol violations, SMU said.

The school is also investigating Kappa Sig on allegations of hazing and sexual assault.
