Two Men Arrested in Taped Fatal Shooting

Police have arrested the last two of five men suspected in a fatal shooting and robbery captured on residential surveillance cameras.

Tummy Crenshaw, 29, and Gary Lenn Hogg, 19, were arrested Wednesday in Shreveport, La. by the U.S. Marshall’s office and are awaiting extradition to Dallas.

On the morning of Feb. 23, the victim, Derrick Lamon Alberty, 29, was getting into his vehicle in the driveway of his home in the 2500 block of Camel Court when five men drove up in two different vehicles. At least one of the suspects opened fire and Alberty was shot multiple times, police said.

As one of the men took property from Alberty and his vehicle, another man drove off in the victim’s 2006 Mercedes Benz, which was later found abandoned.

The entire incident was captured on surveillance cameras which the victim had mounted on the outside of his house.
