Two people have died in a fire in a double-wide mobile home in the Central Texas town of Bastrop.
The Bastrop County Sheriff's Office says the home's 57-year-old owner, Melinda Lee Goehrs, and 26-year-old Lawrence Hernandez Jr. died in the fire early Sunday morning.
Officials say three other people made it out of the home safely.
Officials say autopsies show that the preliminary cause of death appears to be smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the state fire marshal.
