Two people were arrested Tuesday morning after leading deputies in a pursuit which ended in a crash, authorities say.
The chase began shortly before 7:30 a.m. when a deputy tried to pull over a vehicle that ran a red light, according to Melinda Urbina, Dallas County Sheriff's spokesperson.
Sheriff's deputies, assisted by a Department of Public Safety helicopter, chased the vehicle into Pleasant Grove where the driver lost control and crashed, Urbina said. Two of the three people inside the vehicle were arrested after a brief foot chase. A third person remained at large Tuesday, Urbina said.
A license plate scan showed the vehicle was reported stolen, Urbina said. It's not clear which suspect was the driver.
