No injuries were reported in a two-alarm apartment fire Monday in south Dallas.[[365695811,R]]
Firefighters were called at about 5:25 p.m. to the Bella Vista Apartments in the 2900 block of George Street, near Southwest Center Mall.
Flames were coming out of the front door of a two-story town home when firefighters first arrived, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue officials.
The first was contained to one building, and only one unit was damaged. However, three neighboring units were left uninhabitable because the power to the building had to be shut off.
The number of residents displaced was not immediately known Monday evening.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
