2-Story Condo Catches Fire in Dallas

Emergency responders are at the scene of a 3-alarm fire in a two-story condominium on the 4900-block of Thunder Road in Dallas.

Plumes of black and grey smoke were visible coming from the attic of the building. Flames were visible through the roof of the building.

One firefighter was transported to the hospital due to heat exhaustion. Officials say he will be okay.

Dallas firefighters are using constantly rotating crews with crews spending 20 minutes fighting the fire, then resting for 20 minutes. Crews are being evaluated by medics during the break to make sure they are okay.

Everyone who was inside the building escaped unharmed. It is not yet known what started the fire.
