2 Men Arrested, Suspected in Armed Robberies: FW Police

Authorities said they arrested two people suspected in two aggressive armed robberies during the last few weeks.

Fort Worth police arrested 20-year-old Dariyon Keandre Lusk Monday and charged him with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and aggravated kidnapping. Police and members of the U.S. Marshal's Service also arrested 19-year-old Darrell Wayne Caldwell Tuesday and charged him with aggravated kidnapping.

Police said they suspect Lusk and Caldwell of kidnapping and robbing a woman who was in her car at a stoplight at the intersection of East Seminary and Campus drives Jan. 27.

"He says, 'Open the door or we'll shoot,'" the victim — who asked to remain anonymous — told NBC 5.

One of the men drove her car to a parking lot where surveillance video shows the men talking about assaulting the woman and taking her cellphone, credit cards and cash. The men eventually drove away, allowing the victim to make her way home and call police.

The second attack happened at 2 a.m. Jan. 30, where

Police said suspects matching the descriptions of Lusk and Caldwell also shot a woman on Hartman Drive near Loop 820. Forest Hill and Fort Worth police said they are investigating the cases together.

"The fact that there were shots fired and someone was hit raises the concern level greatly because these guys are not shy about firing their weapon," Fort Worth Police Department Det. Brian Raynsford said.

The woman was hit in the leg and has been since released from the hospital.
