Two high school football players have been injured during a scrimmage in Flower Mound.
City Communications Manager Molly Fox confirmed to NBC 5 that the students were involved in a head-to-head collision Thursday afternoon at Marcus High School Football Stadium.
It is unknown if they were wearing helmets at the time.
Both players were transported to a hospital, where they were both conscious and able to move, according to a Lewisville ISD spokesperson.
One of the players was airlifted to Baylor Medical Center Grapevine.
