2 Drivers Grazed By Bullets In Arlington

An investigation is under way after two drivers were shot in two apparently random shootings near east Arkansas Lane, Arlington police Lt. Blake Miller said.

The first victim, an instructor at Lincoln Tech school, was hit in the arm as he drove to work in the 2800 block of east Arkansas Lane.  He didn't realize he was grazed by a bullet until he got to work. He was taken to Dallas Methodist Hospital.

The second victim was shot in the arm as he was driving an 18-wheeler through the area.  He drove to the Kroger grocery store parking lot in the 2500 block of east Arkansas Lane. He refused treatment.

Both victims have non-life threatening injuries, police said.
