18-Wheeler Wrecks, Spills Cotton: Fort Worth Police

An 18-wheeler carrying 46,000 pounds of cotton tipped and wrecked on U.S. 287 in Fort Worth Wednesday morning, according to authorities.

Police said they're investigating what caused the truck to tip on service road of southbound U.S. 287 near Willow Springs Road.

The truck was removed a few hours after the wreck. As of 7:15 a.m., a tow truck was loading the remaining cotton.

The driver was not hurt.
