15-Year-Old Dies After Shooting at Garland Park; Police

Garland Police say they are investigating after a shooting at a Garland Park that killed a 15-year-old boy.

Officers say they were called to Baylor Garland around 5 p.m.Friday afternoon.

At that time, the teen was in critical condition. He later died at the hospital.

Investigators say the shooting happened at Embree Park at 1515 Dairy Road. That's where a large group of kids had gathered, when a fight started.

Police say during the fight, someone pulled out a gun and shot the 15-year-old.

As of right now, police say they have no suspect description, but they are interviewing witnesses at the scene and trying to find anyone who may have more information about the shooting.
