15-Year-Old Dead After Shooting in South Fort Worth

Tarrant County Sheriff deputies say a man has turned himself in after a shooting that left a 15-year-old girl dead.

Investigators say the shooting happened in the 5400 block of Wilson Road in South Fort Worth on Saturday.

The victim has been identified as Makayla Davis.

The victim's brother witnessed the shooting and has told investigators it was an accident.

Deputies say 18-year-old Sebastian Ramirez-Barcenas left the scene before officers arrived. He then called police at 6 p.m. Sunday to turn himself in. He is now being questioned by officers.
