Firefighters battled a three-alarm blaze at a Dallas apartment complex on Tuesday afternoon.
Crews could see heavy smoke and flames in one building of the Monaco Parc Apartments when they arrived at the complex in the 5900 block of Arapaho Road at about 3 p.m.
Dallas Fire-Rescue said eight units were damaged, two of which were vacant.
Monaco Parc management said the fire displaced 13 residents. The management said it will try to house them in vacant apartments in the complex.
No one was injured in the blaze. A dog that was rescued from one of the apartments appeared to be unhurt, firefighters said.
About 60 firefighters fought the fire, which was brought under control shortly before 4 p.m.
One firefighter was taken to a hospital for pain in his left shoulder.
