Firefighters have a grass fire under control Thursday afternoon in northern Tarrant County, officials say.
The fire was reported at about 3:30 p.m. near the 500 block of Avondale-Haslet Road in Haslet.
Haslet Fire Chief Kirt Mays told NBC 5 about 10 acres of grass caught fire, and crews from Haslet, Fort Worth, Saginaw, Blue Mound and Eagle Mound responded.
No building damage or injuries were reported, and there is no word on the cause of the fire.
