1 Person Dead After Small Plane Crash at Spinks Airport

One person is dead after a Cessna 210 plane crashed near Fort Worth Spinks Airport, according to MedStar.

The plane crashed just after 3 p.m. Thursday near Stone Road and Abner Drive.

Investigators said the plane crashed and burned after impact. It appears that the pilot was the only person on board. Rescue crews said there was nothing they could do to save him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Cessna 210 is a six-seat single-engine plane.

The plane had just taken off from Spinks Airport, and started to turn right when it went down.
