1 Injured in 2-Alarm Fire at Dallas Apartments

Authorities said at least one person was transported to a hospital after a two-alarm fire in Dallas Wednesday morning. [[378952201,C]]

Firefighters responded to the Woodland City Apartments in the 200 block of Jim Miller Road at 4:37 a.m. and saw the fire in a first-floor unit of the two-story building.

Dallas Fire-Rescue's Jason Evans said firefighters contained the fire within an hour.

Three people were inside the apartment when it caught fire, according to Evans, and one person was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.

The American Red Cross was notified to assist with impacted residents.
