Dallas police are investigating a crash that left a passenger dead and sent four others to the hospital early Sunday morning.[[375172261,R]]
Just before 4 a.m., a car carrying five people crashed into a tree next to the westbound service road for Interstate 30.
According to police, paramedics transported four people, including the driver, to nearby hospitals. The passenger in the front seat was found dead on the scene.
The identities of the people involved were not released.
Investigators did not say what may have caused the crash, but the investigation is ongoing.
