Police said one person is dead and another was injured in a shooting following a head-on collision in Dallas Friday morning.[[297026161,C]]
Dallas police and firefighters responded to a call about a wreck and a shooting in the 4800 block of Bonnie View Road at about 7:40 a.m. Authorities arrived and found a head-on wreck between a black and white vehicle.
Police said a man in the white Buick Century— later identified as J.L. Armington, Jr. — sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas where he was pronounced deceased.
The witness said a woman and child were in the black car. She said the child seemed fine but that the woman might have been injured.
