1 Arrested in Shooting at Dallas Public Housing Facility

A Dallas man is facing murder charges Tuesday, accused of fatally shooting at another man at a an apartment complex Monday night, police say.[[325607071,C]]

Dallas police said the were called to a shooting outside the 12-story Cliff Manor Apartments on the 2400 block of Fort Worth Avenue at 9:41 p.m. and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim — later identified as 34-year-old Jesse Willis — was transported to Methodist Dallas Medical Center where he died, according to police.

After investigating, police said they arrested 36-year-old Richard Louis Butler Jr. and charged him with murder. His bond was set at $200,000.

According to the Dallas Housing Authority, Cliff Manor is a public housing facility designed for the elderly and disabled.
